They say love is a verb, action, and not just a noun. The sounds and production of the myth, man, mystery Blaqstarr is sonically bypassing the future into the galaxy of a new dimension he takes us through in his new single, “You Been Good”, We asked Blaqstarr where his creativity led him in this audio utopia, he laughed and said “Spent a weekend at my moms” we all agreed that trips to mom’s house are always a vibrant, nostalgic, fun time. So we asked Blaqstarr a bit more to get some insight on how spending a weekend at his Mom played a part in this amazing project. He told us his Aunt Pat came up to him and asked him to listen to a track, he already knew his mom and her sisters had a gospel group called “the loving sisters” within the first 3 seconds of the song he knew it was his mother right away, mind you he hadn’t heard a song by his mom ever before in his whole entire life. So this was a major shockingly therapeutic moment for Blaqstarr, after hearing him say this we were eager to know his next move being that he is an international producer. As soon as I heard her voice, I instantly said I’m sampling this! and BAM! Listen to the sounds of “You Been Good” Enjoy! Blaqstarr x B.Loving
